Some schools have, sadly, stopped playing rugby by this time of the year but in the old Cape they are still having a full go and produced one really interesting result with Tygerberg's victory.

There were also two FNB Classic Clashes. The one in Aliwal North was desperately close, unlike the one in Bethlehem.

The St John's side which got such a hiding played wiithout its Grade 12 players.
